Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing this Site or submitting an application to the Venture Forum, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Site.

2. Eligibility

The Venture Forum is open to legally-formed companies operating in healthcare that meet the program’s stage, sector, and geographic criteria as published on /sectors and /faq. You represent that you are authorized to submit an application on behalf of your company.

3. Application & submissions

Submissions made via the application form must be accurate and complete. We may decline, disqualify, or remove any submission at our discretion, including for misrepresentation, conflict, or program-fit reasons. We may use information you submit to evaluate your application as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Confidentiality & NDAs

Submissions are read in confidence by sector leads, co-chairs, judges, and our strategic capital partner. We do not sign NDAs at the application stage. Share pitch-friendly materials, not patent-grade content. Live finals pitches are room-only; we do not record. Decks shared with the panel are returned or destroyed at your request.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights, title, and interest in your company’s intellectual property. The Site, the GHF and Venture Forum names, logos, and content are owned by the Global Health Forum and its licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual-property rights to you.

6. License you grant us

By submitting materials to the Venture Forum, you grant the Global Health Forum and its affiliates a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the materials solely for the purpose of evaluating your application, operating the program, and (with your further consent) promoting your participation. This license is revocable on request and ends if your application is withdrawn or rejected, except as needed to fulfill legal obligations.

7. Prohibited conduct

• Submitting false, misleading, or plagiarized information.
• Misrepresenting authority to submit on behalf of a company.
• Reverse-engineering, scraping, or interfering with the Site.
• Using the Site or the program to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Submitting protected health information (PHI) or identified patient data.

8. No investment or legal advice

Information on this Site, including sector theses, evaluation criteria, and judges’ bios, is for informational purposes only. It is not investment, legal, tax, or professional advice. Consult your own advisors before making any decision.

9. No guarantee of selection or funding

Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Selection as a finalist or winner does not guarantee that any investment, partnership, or contract will be executed; capital alignment occurs through structured engagement with investors. The Venture Forum prize is subject to its own definitive documentation and the diligence conducted by our strategic capital partner.

10. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND PROGRAM ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER GHF, ITS AFFILIATES, NOR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR JUDGES WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GHF, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and judges from any third-party claim, damage, or expense arising from your application materials, your conduct in the program, or your breach of these terms.

13. Governing law & venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any non-arbitrable dispute is the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.

14. Dispute resolution

Before filing any claim, the parties will attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through informal negotiation for at least 30 days. Any unresolved dispute will be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property infringement or breach of confidentiality.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and GHF regarding your use of the Site and participation in the program.

Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations without our prior written consent.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
